That seems to be the attitude in Virginia, which shows zero official interest in remembering the Nat Turner Slave Revolt.
I can see why, for slave revolts go against the neo-Southern narrative that they were "only fighting for states' rights" and that the abolition of slavery was merely a by-product of the Civil War.
Which is complete bullshit, but you already know that.
