You can fire all of the people you want who dare to speak the truth, but it will not appease them one bit. You can have on conservative commentators, but that has not ever appeased the Right and it will not ever make them happy.
The Right wants NPR to shut the fuck up and go away. Because to conservatives, only their point of views should be aired on the nation's airwaves. In that regard, they are little different from the Soviets, the Chinese, the Cubans or any other authoritarian nation. And the conservatives have billions from the Chamber of Commerce, the Koch brothers, Fox and corporations to support their stations.
NPR is acting about like a heard of antelopes trying to appease a pack of jackals.
