A Tunisian living in Virginia, with the legal right to live and work in this country, had a small limo business. His business is now collapsing because the state of Virginia refused to renew his driver's license because the DMV clerks didn't like his documents.
Words such as "arbitrary" and "capricious" come to mind.
So all of the hate spewed forth by the forces of the Right against "illegal immigrants" is now washing up on those who are here legally. All of the proud rhetoric of America being "a nation of immigrants" is no longer operative.
