The Pinkerton Agency had an old and well-deserved reputation for providing goon squads to companies for union busting.
Things are more sophisticated, now. Now there are law firms that thug organizations like the Chamber of Commerce will hire and they, in turn will do the dirty work of going after those who stand in their plan to destroy the lives of wage-earners.
