Apparently the governor is seeking the authority to sell off the state-owned utilities without the requirement for a public bidding process or any need to seek competitive bids. Single bid, private sale, no notice to anyone.
You might wonder who is the intended buyer. It apparently is the Koch brothers.
If there is not a better example of the fact that the Koch brothers have been funding the Tea party for their own enrichment, I am not aware of it.
