"OK, OK, So Maybe It Was Not All The Fault of the Workers."

After spending days blaming the sanitation workers for New York City's failure to cope with the Christmas Blizzard, the upper level minions of Mayor Bloomberg were forced to appear before the City Council.

No surprise, they stood up and took the bullet for Mayor Mike. Either it was their fault or, more commonly, the fault of people who worked for them. And, for some unfathomable reason, "it is harder to plow snow in Brooklyn", or so they seem to claim. I guess the snow is denser or something if it doesn't fall on Manhattan?

The principle of command responsibility means nothing to Mayor Mike.

  1. The people of the outer boroughs don't go to dinner parties and the Met with Mayor Bloomberg. The money's in Manhattan and that's what gets cleaned up first. Been that way since I can remember.
