A revised Wizard of Oz:
The scope mounts on my Savage Mk II loosened up for the second time, so this time around, I dabbed some blue Locktite on the threads. Of course, that required going to the range again to sight it in. The Force wasn't with me today on that, I shot pretty sucky, but it's probably good enough for now. I was able to hit a small spinner at 50 yards.
Went flying, too. It was a nice flight, after I wrestled the wheel pants off and on so that I could pump up the tires. The tiny compressor in the road-emergency kit takes forever. I had a larger portable one, but it shit the bed a few months ago and went to the equipment retirement home (the local dump).
But the day was not all sweetness and fun. One of the cats had a loose bowel last night. I found where he (I'm thinking it was George) went by the Helen Keller Method.
