This "Miscegenation" Bullshit Was Supposed to Have Been Settled 42 Years Ago

Loving v. Virginia settled the question as to whether it was legal to deny marriage licenses to interracial couples with a strong and firm "No".

But the law cuts no ice in Louisiana, where that Good Ole Southern Racism just keeps ticking along, as a judge there refused to marry an interracial couple "for the sake of the children".

  1. Ah yes, Keith Bardwell of Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana, this week's recipient of the Golden Hairball Award as asshat of the week, meow. I especially like the fact that he says he won't sign the marriage license because biracial children have a hard time. Yeah, like that guy Barack Obama, clearly being a biracial child means you aren't going anywhere, meow. Not to mention, what the fuck does being married have to do with children? What, he never heard of the fact that it's *sex*, not *marriage*, that causes children? You gotta wonder who the real daddy of his kids is, meow.
