    It will probably cater to her already overweening ego, but Gracie is really a beautiful cat. Is she part Maine Coon or Norwegian Forest Cat?

    I am not certain. Her mother was a feral. Her sole surviving littermate is still semi-feral.

    Both of my kittehs are pound pussies. The Mighty Fang is the sweetest kitteh you'll ever see, friendly and curious and loving. Mencken, bless his half-feral heart, spends more time under the bed than anywhere else, but when he does decide to come out when only someone he trusts is at home he is a ridiculously loving lap cat.

    My apartment complex limits me to two kitties, and frankly two is enough. But to those who don't have two kitties, hie thee to your nearest shelter. If a kitty will lie on your lap and purr and let you rub his belly and go into paroxysms of joy at the prospect, like Mencken did when I picked him at the shelter, he (or she) will give you years of joy. And two only makes it better, because then you get to watch the interactions between them too. It's more fun than a barrel of Republicans, and a whole lot cheaper...
