Torture Nation

At the direct command and consent of the White House, people were tortured. When George W. Bush said "we do not torture," he was lying.

Question is, now: What are we going to do about it?

Joe Galloway wrote:
We cannot be the shining city on the hill if our gleaming buildings have dungeons and torture chambers in their basements. We cannot be a beacon of hope in a chaotic world if our hands are bloody and our ears still ring with the screams of helpless prisoners.
I ask every American citizen: What are we going to do about it?
