Security; Illusion Of

A man at Heathrow Airport was threatened with arrest for wearing a t-shirt that had an image of a "Transformers" character holding a weapon.

They'd probably Taser you if you showed up wearing a Yosemite Sam t-shirt:



This keeps us safe how, exactly?

What it does is cement in the minds of the public that the people running the security systems are a bunch of knee-jerk thoughtless goons with all of the good humor of a concentration camp guard and the IQs of a potted plants.

Roberta X commented that this was further proof of the fall of formerly Great Britain. While that might be true, I have no doubt at all that our own lovable thugs in the TSA are not above something similar.

    Clearly the solution to this and pretty much all other problems with clothing is to require all passengers to fly nude. That way we can insure they are not secreting explosive devices within their clothing, and it makes it easier for the security goons oops guards to do the required cavity searches for boarding.
