I thought today would have been a nice day to go wash the airplane. Problem is that as there is no spot on the airport to do it, I have to fly to another field. Doesn't sound like a problem, except that the winds now are gusting well over 20kts and the winds could not be more of a direct crosswind if they tried.
And did I mention that the runway at my home airport is about fifty feet wide? So forget that plan.
I heard a story yesterday that some guy was buying a Luscombe that supposedly had "no damage history." Luscombes are good airplanes, but finding one that has never been ground-looped is like finding one that has never been flown.
