There was sleet and freezing rain in this area last night. Hardly anyone is venturing out of their homes, it seems, as traffic is very light. In the complex where I live, other than the plow truck, nothing has moved in the parking lot in the last three hours. Half of the cars are sitting there with their windshield wipers raised in what looks like a weird salute (people do that so the windshields are easier to clean off).
So I am sitting here, reading the Sunday paper online. And let me tell you,it is a piss-poor substitute for a real dead-tree newspaper. The words may be the same, but the experience is awful.
