Stupie has it wrong, of course. It is Bush that is risking international isolation. The rest of the world is looking at the reports of the National Intelligence Estimate and asking: "What the fuck, George?"
You don't have to go very far to find allegations that Bush has known about this NIE for a solid year, or that the reason why publication was held up was because Cheney was trying to water it down.
What is clear is that Bush's assertion that he only knew of this a week ago is a flat-out bald-faced lie.
