Like This is a Surprise, GITMO Edition

Defense lawyers are complaining that the process is rigged.

Yeah, that's news. About the only way they could make the process less fair is to start summarily executing people. The fact that one of the judges mentioned that he had "taken a lot of heat" for an earlier ruling that displeased the powers that be is not at all surprising.

GITMO has become a huge stain on our national honor. The Bush Administration is trying to cobble together a system that appears fair on the surface but that is as predictable and as rigged as a Soviet show trial.

Only the Kool-Aid Drinkers are fooled by this show.
