In the "Edumacated Idjits" category, comes a new member: James Watson, a co-winner of the Nobel Prize, for stating that Blacks have inferior intelligence.
Note in the article that he is quoted as saying that darker-skinned people are more romantic and he uses "Latin lover" and "English patient" as examples (guess he forgot about the French). In this, he follows in the discredited line of William Schokley, who invented the transistor (the foundation of every piece of electronics in use today), but who wound up being best known as just another educated racist.
It's just sad, really, that a man can be so smart and, at the same time, be an utter imbecile.
