Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has taken steps to block or delay promotions for more than a dozen Black and female senior officers across all four branches of the military, some of whom are seen as having been targeted because of their race, gender or perceived affiliation with Biden administration policies or officials, according to nine U.S. officials familiar with the process.
What Whiskey Pete is too stupid to understand is that if one is in the service and assigned a job, whether as aide to an official or running a machinery depot, that's the job one does as well as possible. A lot of senior officers don't vote because they don't want to be seen as being partisan.
But that counts for nothing in a day when the only things that matter to this bigoted administration is the color of their skin and the type of genitals that they have.
Selecting senior officers based on perceived political reliability has made the Russian and Chinese militaries into the forces that they are today, so it's no wonder that the Orange Sundowner loves Pretty Boy Pete's moves.

ReplyDeleteMy suspicion is that slots are being cleared to fill with loyalists for the coup attempt many of expect three years from now.
ReplyDeleteIf we see individual troops being shuffled around the bases close to DC, that would be a warning, if happens more than usual.
Need troops willing to obey illegal orders for a coup to work.
