Winning the Internet

There was an Internet outage this morning and this response won:

Relying on connected things such as Alexa for alarm clocks or starting your morning cuppa joe isn't a good thing.

  1. As a high tech engineer I'm still very much agast about the overkill replacements for a timer or simple push button. What alarms me is
    what happens when it doesn't work. Seems there is a level of panic
    arises from that. There is no recognition that things do break and
    more complex things break more often.
