I don't know if, in his heart, Kirk was a bigot. But he was a performative bigot, slinging around racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic claptrap. If he played music, he would have been a classic shock jock, stirring up people in order to build an audience.

It seems wild to me that the current suspect would do the Indiana Jones thing of somehow getting to the roof of the building and then scrambling down and taking his weapon with him as well. It just doesn’t make sense.
