Maybe my memory of it is faulty. It was a long time ago and I was very young. But I remember standing in line at the school where my grandmothers taught waiting for our sugar cube of vaccine. As I remember it, even with all the kids there, it was dead silent. Parents were scared. Rightfully so. Polio was dead serious. I went to school with older kids who had it and were still battling the after effects. What kind of stupid motherfucker wants that shit back. I'm fucking sick of the wellness hacks, the supplement mongers, the mommy influencers.... They're the real enemy within. Their bullshit is actually killing people.
