Good for You, Joe. Good for You.
The prosecution of his son was a political persecution by Republicans. The charges were bullshit and were driven by the right wing noise machine and its slavish adherents.
Now commence the faux outrage by the Trumpanzees.

COMMENT MODERATION IS IN EFFECT UFN. This means that if you are an insulting dick, nobody will ever see it.
No Fucks Left To Give Prez Biden is best Prez Biden.
ReplyDeleteSo if I did the same things that Hunter Biden did, I would not deserve to be prosecuted? My state of Michigan was threatened with the Feds to not sell guns to anyone who possessed a medical marijuana card, because that meant that they were automatically considered a drug addict.
ReplyDeleteI had a card once, trying to find a cure for my chronic daily migraines. I tried it a couple of times, and it didn't work. So I never touched the stuff again. But I was still considered a drug addict because of my possession of that card. Fortunately I didn't purchase any firearms while my card remained in effect. But if I had, I would have been considered a felon.
The point is that nobody has found a case where a person was charged for lying on a 4473 without some other crime associated with the purchase of the gun: Use of the gun in a crime, straw purchases, etc. Charging somebody with a crime that nobody else has been charged for is the very definition of selective prosecution.
DeleteSo then former president Trump should not be charged with misappropriation of so called top secret documents, because current President Biden was not charged with the same thing. Calling Biden a forgetful and sympathetic defendant to put on the stand somehow negates his culpability?
DeleteThe thing that you are missing is the IRS crimes of Hunter Biden not paying taxes on the money that he scammed from foreign governments, with current President Biden and his family gaining financial profits as well. What about the charges for that?
The old saw what is good for the goose is good for the gander rings true here. I predict seeing Trump issuing a lot of pardons for those who were convicted by means that the American public finds abhorrent.
People have been charged with misappropriation of classified documents for decades. What you are glossing over, of course, is that Biden fully cooperated with the investigation. Trump did nothing of the kind; he obstructed the investigation and roped other people into helping him.
DeleteTrump is going to pardon the J6 terrorists. He always was. The only people upset by those convictions are those who are loyal to Trump, not the United States. You know, traitors.
Also, Mike Pence was investigated for the same thing and he was also not charged because, like Biden and unlike Trump, Pence cooperated.
DeleteOnly Trump obstructed the investigation, so he was the only one charged.
Excellent.
ReplyDeleteThe rethugs wanted someone to attack and they went with a thin case
ReplyDeleteand a lot or alleged but never proven junk. Now they have to hunt elsewhere.
The hole point was to cause pain, likely they did.
Consider who is next.
Eck!
Biden has suffered enough, both of them have. The elder has gave his considerable all , serving stoically, brought America back from the brink and has gotten shit for thanks. He served America faithfully and truly...and a bare majority cared not to know or to understand that gift, chosing more grift, snake oil fire and hate. He has his honor, America has none. Paraphrasing the old adage of France. 150 million Americans can be very wrong and will now be schooled in consequence...and the rest of us are collateral damage along for the ride of fear and loathing.

“It was miraculous. It was almost no trick at all, he saw, to turn vice into virtue and slander into truth,
impotence into abstinence, arrogance into humility, plunder into philanthropy, thievery into honor,
blasphemy into wisdom, brutality into patriotism, and sadism into justice.
Anybody could do it; it required no brains at all. It merely required no character.”
― Joseph Heller, Catch-22
Joe will turn out the lamps when he leave the White House. For those of us older (77 here), we will not see them lit again in our lifetime...or ever. Biden will leave the stage and take his son with him, a separate peace he has paid for. You cannot save fools
Liberal Dems cheered when Biden adopted Trump's border policy, had no problem with his adopting his Israel policy either. Not surprising to watch them cheer this Trump move while they sit in the political wilderness. "Good for you" indeed
ReplyDelete... And give Jack Smith the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
ReplyDeleteNow commute the sentences of all federal death penalty recipients to life without parole to keep Fergus from going on an execution rampage.
ReplyDelete-Doug in Sugar Pine
I'd like to see Biden commute the sentences of all Federal death row inmates *except* those convicted of mass murders that were adjudicated as hate crimes.
DeleteThen we'll see where the TOFF really stands. My guess is that he won't execute his own people.
Jimmy Carter pardoned his brother Billy. Bush 41 pardoned his son Neil. Anyone who thinks that this pardon will give Trump license to pardon the J6 terrorists has rocks for brains. Trump is going to do that, anyway.
ReplyDeleteMight that be a selective list?

Maybe I’m the stupid one, but if this is only about the tax charges and the 4473, why was the pardon retroactive to 2014 - six years before Joe was President, but conveniently coinciding with the alleged energy expert’s service on the board of a Ukrainian oil and gas firm?
ReplyDeleteNo, you're not stupid. Ka$h and the rest of the slavering Trumpie horde have been investigating Hunter for Burisma and anything else they can throw against the wall. Biden is stopping that cold.
DeleteNeil Bush was not pardoned.
