President-elect Donald Trump wants to turn the lights out on daylight saving time.
In a post on his social media site Friday, Trump said his party would try to end the practice when he returns to office.
That's probably the first thing he's said that I agree with.
And it'll probably be the last for a very long time.
Wasn't the bill before Congress to keep DST permanently?

Yes, but that’s the wrong fix.
ReplyDeleteless fussy about which so long as they stop doing it.
ReplyDeleteEck!
I'm sure he'll take care of it right after infrastructure week.
ReplyDeleteMight just be me, but reverting to standard time in the fall get the most complaints.
ReplyDeleteI think a lot of the standard time/daylight time opinions are based on if you live on the east or west ends of the time zone. Here in Wisconsin, in Central Time Zone, I'd hate year around standard time. I don't need sunrise at 4:00 AM in June. Back home in Michigan, just across the lake in Eastern Time Zone, I'd be fine with standard time year around.
DeleteI'm not surprised--he's been trying to set the clock back since we met him.
