A quick search shows that while the FAA has a manufacturer and model code for the aircraft, none are currently on the US registry.

  1. I've never actually seen one, but I'd say it's a German 'copy' of a Lear 25, with enough changes to pass, and that weird forward swept wing. That is just...strange...

  2. The wing spar passes through behind the cabin, allowing more room. The head of the design team was a Ju-287 engineer.
