The Man Who Murdered Boeing

Stonecipher and financial vultures like him, especially Jack Welch, have destroyed some of this country's finest technology companies. May their memories be as curses.

  2. Don't let Maria Baritomo or Larry Kudlow hear you say that. Neutron Jack was a hero.

  3. My father was an airframe and wing engineer for MD and Boeing. Before he passed on, he confided to me that he absolutely despised Stonecipher and had no respect for him. He almost never said anything disparaging about anyone, but Stonecipher was such an arrogant dick, he managed to piss off my Dad.

Stonecipher came out of retirement to "F" things up at Boeing. His many other scandals can be found here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harry_Stonecipher.

"He also oversaw the launch of the Boeing 787 Dreamliner in order to challenge Airbus.[7] Although not fully evident at the time, the results of major changes to Boeing's airplane program design, sourcing and financing made during Stonecipher's and Condit's tenures would later prove disastrous."

"After the merger, McDonnell executives took charge of the combined entity, and it was McDonnell’s financial management, under Stonecipher, that prevailed. "McDonnell Douglas bought Boeing with Boeing’s money" was a joke heard in Seattle. Stonecipher was said to refer to the company’s engineers as "arrogant".

Jack Welch's influence on Stonecipher is obvious and spawned malevolent fruit.

  4. As a mining engineer, I worked for companies large and small. One thing I learned early on was if the tech guy was replaced by the CFO, it would behoove me to up date my resume as I would be sending out multiple copies within a year.

  5. I was a contractor (WCG) as an Air Traffic Control SME (subject matter expert) after retiring from the FAA in 2001. At the time Boeing, fresh from the completely computer designed very successful B-777, believed that they could automate the air trafic control system. They established a “business” called ATCM ( Air Traffic Control Management) and hired a few ATC SME’s. I was one. Boeing integrated us with Computer Software Engineers. Oil and water! My job was to explain the what’s and why’s to ATC related questions from the engineers. At least 85% of engineer questions were correctly answered as “it depends.” YEEEEEEEEAHHHHH was the primal screams usually heard as the engineers ran bck to their cubicles.

This was a BFD (you can research why). The

    1. I don't see how Welch could have done more damage to this nation if he was a KGB illegal.
