Steve Bannon, a longtime ally of former President Donald Trump, must report to prison by July 1 to serve his four-month sentence for defying a subpoena from the House committee that investigated the U.S. Capitol insurrection, a federal judge ruled Thursday.
U.S. District Judge Carl Nichols in Washington granted the Justice Department’s request to make Bannon begin his prison term after a federal appeals court panel last month upheld his contempt of Congress conviction.
...
Nichols, who was nominated to the bench by Trump, a Republican, had initially allowed him to remain free while he fought his conviction because the judge believed the case raised substantial legal questions. But during a hearing in Washington’s federal court, Nichols said the calculus changed after the appeals court panel said all of Bannon’s challenges lack merit.
“I do not believe the original basis for my stay exists any longer,” Nichols said.
The only reason Bannon is trying to drag this out is because he is hoping that the FOFF will win the election (or stage a coup) and he can receive a second pardon for his fuckery.
The TOFF is a felon and he is surrounded by felons.
“If everybody in your circle is a felon, maybe it’s not rigged. Maybe the world isn’t against you. Donald Trump is now a felon. His campaign chairman was a felon. So is his deputy campaign manager, his personal lawyer, his chief strategist, his National Security Adviser, his Trade Advisor, his Foreign Policy Adviser, his campaign fixer, and his company CFO. They’re all felons. Judged by the company you keep. It’s a cabal of convicts.”--Colin Cowherd

MEXICO CITY (The Borowitz Report)—In her first major address since being elected president of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum warned that “remorseless criminals” from the US must be prevented from illegally entering her country.
“These gangsters attack judges, pay off witnesses, and use threats and intimidation to undermine the rule of law,” she said. “We cannot let their crime wave spread to Mexico.”
She criticized the United States for so far failing to incarcerate the vilest of these miscreants, who leads a criminal organization based in New York City.
“This is madness,” she said. “This monster committed 34 felonies, and yet he roams free.”
Will they make him take a shower? De-louse him? I know, an impossible task.... Can we get a reccording of the cell door slamming on him?
ReplyDeleteSo he'll be in prison on the 11th when Fergus gets sentenced and thus won't be able to whine like a baby about it on his podcast.

Where is "B"? I would like to hear him defend the 1st Felon. I guess he was banned into the nether sphere. Oh well, no loss.
ReplyDeletew3ski
He's not banned. He's got a blog, if you want to ask him.
ReplyDeleteRemember the old Looney Tunes cartoon with the chameleon jumping from color to color but broke down at plaid saying "I can't do it, I can't do it". That what the delousing powder is going to do when they try to put it on Bannon.
ReplyDeleteFour months. snarl
ReplyDeleteI've done four months standing on my head waiting to be sentenced
Being of a different long-haired persuasion, I would actually pay good money to see video of those haircuts, him and drumpf uck: standard intake, walk through the out-of-your-control not quite hot shower, sit down or be sat down for the shave
Candy-coated-cuck ...
He'll probably do 85% of his sentence with good time. So, about 3 months, 12 days or so.
ReplyDeleteAt the very best (for those of us wanting to lock him up forever), it'll be house arrest and an ankle monitor. But keeping him off the campaign trail is good too.
ReplyDeleteThis sucker and loser would pay to lock the monitor on his ankle (with protective gloves on, of course).
