And Then There Were None

LCDR Lou Conter, USN-ret, the last survivor of the sinking of the USS Arizona, has died. He was 102.

Conter was a quartermaster on the Arizona. After the ship sank, he went to flight school and flew PBYs, flying 200 missions as a night raider. He was shot down twice and, each time, kept his crew calm until they were rescued.
