Speaker Mike Johnson is at risk of being ousted after hard-right Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene filed a “motion to vacate” on Friday in the middle of a House vote on a $1.2 trillion package to keep the government open.
Pass the popcorn.
A darker view is that the only way that MTG can follow Putin/TOFF's orders to stop more aid from going to Ukraine is to sacrifice Bible Mike.
Stay tuned!
And remember, the GOP is no longer a serious party. Vote blue in 24!
We have clowns, that makes their place of work a circus.
ReplyDeleteEck!
Another (R) made an announcement of their early resignation from the Hose timed so that their seat will remain vacant until the general election. That leaves a one seat majority for voting, since ties are the same as a loss. Wonder how long the Squeaker of the House will keep his position.
ReplyDeleteFr' Jeebus sake, will someone goose the projector man, or the ringmaster and get things going? Or just cut the ropes on the GOP big tent, what an effin' joke, and have it float down as a bodybag to shroud the party of Lincoln and Eisenhower? Once upon a time, I wondered how a nation could expose itself to ridicule and humiliation like Italy did with Boom-Boom Berlusconi.
ReplyDeleteBut now we have far surpassed that with the hapless, gutless, substance-free idiocy and lunacy of the MAGA party that can do nothing except stagger around with its pants around its ankles and its shoe lace tied together. God forbid the world should drop it the pot with a natural disaster or a major enemy offensive, because we Could. Do. Nothing. that required an awake and aware legislative or judicial branch of gummint.
