Ah, the Pitter-Patter of Ambulance-Chasers

An aviation firm has filed a lawsuit for $1 billion against Boeing and Alaska Airlines on behalf of three Portland passengers who were aboard Flight 1282, in which a portion of the aircraft blew off mid-flight, forcing the plane to make an emergency landing in PDX back in early January.

This suit comes after four passengers filed a class-action lawsuit later in the month. Additionally, an attorney representing another 22 passengers from the same flight filed an amended lawsuit on Feb. 7 making new allegations of negligence against Boeing and Alaska Airlines
.

Maybe these lawsuits have merit. I'm rather skeptical. A billion dollar ask is a bit much when nobody suffered a scratch.

  1. Comrade Misfit, you have no idea of the exquisite agonized sensibilities of the entitled! Every bump in the road of their life must be ironed out, every errant breeze blocked lest it disturb their countenance. Lest pearls be clutched. Oh the horror! To say nothing of the ravening herds of media mavens descending on them asking for the videos of the atrocity which they fearlessly tool, demanding accounts of the disaster to be broadcast to the hoi polloi. The trauma, their lives will never be the same!

Get a life. Thank your pilot, your lucky stars and make your life count. You want a warranty, buy a toaster.

  2. The number is obscenely large. Do they deserve something for
    the harrowing event, yes.

First offer would be replacement underwear and pants.

Boeing should pay ALL of it.
