For the MAX 9, you'd need to avoid United and Alaska airlines. The MAX 8 is probably flown by those guys, along with Southwest and American.
Spirit flies Airbi, but then again, it's Sprit and you can be assured that there is no corner that has been left uncut. Which leave USAir, JetBlue, Amtrak and Greyhound for ways to get around and not have the chance of riding a MAX.

Reminds me of something m'g'da used to say about four wheel drive: if you need it to get there you don't need to be there. Pre Trump-Flu I used to fly quite a bit, back and forth across the country once or twice a year. Now I can't see myself ever getting on another airplane
