First only mentally unstable people, conservative or liberal, think that they have a right of any kind to shoot anyone that they disagree with. This man was obviously a nutjob. But we can look at the case of the Nashville shooter, Aubrey/Audrey Hale, who had a portion of their writings released to the public and which shows that the motives for the shooting were motivated basically by hatred of white conservative and middle class people. He/She was obviously also mentally unstable. The only thing that the shooting at that school shows about liberals is that they have nutjobs just like conservatives.
ReplyDeleteAs far as this POS in Panama and his illegal handgun, it is only fair to remember that he has been charged with having an illegal gun. He was involved with the police in 2005 after being found in possession of many firearms such as M 16's and others. From what I have seen he was not found guilty due to his claim that they were part of a collection. I don't understand what that means in Panama, but it would seem to mean that he was found not guilty.
It is of note that Panama, like most other countries, has the universally recognized right to be presumed innocent until proven guilty. Seeing that he killed 2 people with a gun, no doubt he should be found guilty, and the charge of an illegal gun confirmed. But it is like the shooter in the school in Nashville, who bought several guns over the last 3 or so years legally, by using them in committing murder that automatically made the possession of those weapons illegal.
I know that you can come up with a list of conservatives who have shot people that they disagreed with. And of course I can come up with a similar list of liberals. My point is that anyone, no matter their political persuasion, who shoots anyone who disagrees with them is deranged and should not be compared with normal thinking people.

ReplyDeleteIf you compare the politically-based killings in this country, the clear domestic terror threat comes from the Right. The asshole who shot up a Black church in Charleston, SC and the asswipe who shot up a synagogue in Pittsburgh gets the death toll to twenty or so. And that’s just two incidents.
Pigpen, You seem to be very focused on one shooter, probably because transgehders and gays are on the right-wing hate list. Just like the right wing noise machine but not bringing up all the other mass shooters backgrounds. That's very telling. Like cherry picking through the Constitution and the Bible to find things that fit the intended narrative but ignoring all the rest.

ReplyDeleteIt's the same thought process that is inside of every Left wing asshole who thinks they can kill, defame, destroy or otherwise harm the people with whom they disagree. You know, like you Nashville shooter, or all the people harmed by (and whose lives were destroyed by) the "cancel culture"...it's the same mindset that thinks it's ok to drive someone out of a restaurant just because you disagree with them, or chant=t outside of their home all night in protest..... You know, the tactics of the Left.
All of them are wrong. But you only decry them when it is someone you think is a Right leaning person doing the perpetrating.
