There is a Fine Line Between MAGA and Insanity

A man illegally brought a loaded handgun into the Wisconsin Capitol, demanding to see Gov. Tony Evers, and returned at night with an assault rifle after posting bail, a spokesperson for the state said Thursday.

The man, who was shirtless and had a holstered handgun, approached the governor’s office on the first floor of the Capitol around 2 p.m. Wednesday, state Department of Administration spokesperson Tatyana Warrick said. The man was demanding to see the governor, who was not in the building at the time, Warrick said.
...
The man was booked into the Dane Count Jail but later posted bail.

He returned to the outside of the Capitol shortly before 9 p.m. with a loaded assault-style rifle, Warrick said. The building closes to the public at 6 p.m. He again demanded to see the governor and was taken into custody.

Madison police reported Thursday that the man, who was not named, was taken into protective custody and taken to the hospital.

With the TOFF asking his supporters to commit violent acts every second or third post on his failing social network, this sort of shit is very foreseeable.

Meanwhile, one of the masterminds of the GOP chaos on Capitol Hill is your favorite alleged Russian (or Chinese) agent, Steve Bannon. I say "alleged," because if he's not taking Putin's rubles, his conduct can't be distinguished from someone who is.

  2. There are obviously those that seek to tilt at their own personal windmills. The MAGA propagandists are set on wasting those people
as they are both useful and defective, therefore expedable.

I would hope they give the man a checkup from the neck up. Then
sit on him till he chills and maybe gets a sense of self
preservation as well as reality check.

  4. It is usually said that it took three Presidential assassinations within a space of 36 years (Lincoln, Garfield, McKinley) to make anyone get serious about security. But in fact the McKinley assassination was the only one that counted, because it was done by a Slavic immigrant, who at the time were widely considered sub-White.
