Bribing,er, Doing Favors for a Supreme Court Justice is Apparently a Legit Business Expense

It seems that Clarence the Grifting Justice's ol' asshole buddy, Harlan Crow, deducted the costs of hosting Clarence on a yacht trip.

It's a tad bit more complicated than that but that's the gist of it. Crow used his "yachting business" to generate losses, so he could take the costs of his toy off his taxes.

Official announcement: I no longer give a fuck about people cheating on welfare, unemployment or workers' comp. If the uber-rich can cheat the system with impunity, poor and working-class people should, too.

  4. If I remember correctly, the pedo joe has been vacationing at a liberal billionaire 's mansion every year for 15 to 20 years , but that is different. He's the big guy. No body fucks with a biden , according to pedo joe.

  5. Wayne, your grasp of “facts” is laughable at best and evidence of insanity at the worst. Your “pedo joe” crack is proof that you are suffering from Limbaugh-induced brain damage.

For your own sake, seek professional help. The regular readers here will be asked to pray for your ultimate recovery.

Administratively, you get a Yellow Card. Further comments along you line of “reasoning” will not see daylight.

It's a popular operational model that is true too often and is at the bottom of the game. The golden goose that is the US economy can tolerate that and continue to afford the stupidity in our politics. We still have the best economy in the world, but for how much longer?

    Was DC sacked once?

  8. JustMusing, lean and mean is a fact of life for thee and me, not so much for such as these.

Conservatism consists of exactly one proposition, to wit:
"There must be in-groups whom the law protects but does not bind,
alongside out-groups whom the law binds but does not protect.
"There is nothing more or else to it, and there never has been, in any place or time..."

    -- Frank Wilhoit, composer
Conservatism conserves wealth and power, keeping it out of our grubby undeserving hands.

  9. The issue is those sucking on the public teat are able
to afford their own and should be denied. Aka the rich.

They need to be paying more than me.!. At least as a
start. When you figure out how much that really means
then things we (government using our taxes) are paying
interest on can be out of pocket.

As to medicare and social security, they are both insurance
I paid into and depend on as retired. I do not complain about
taxes unless I'm not getting value for it. Like good roads,
bridges that don't fail, dams that really hold water.
Without it Alpo makes canned food for those that will not
have if those seeking to destroy have their way. We have
seen its more severe when the roads or bridges fail due
to weather calamity and not simple and pure negligence
    for lack of funds.

    Eck!

  10. I’d like to offer Wayne Wilson thoughts and prayers, but I’m sure he’d say that doesn’t do him any good…

Just saying. And what does it say that all the Reich wingers love to toss pedo and groomer around? Feeling a bit guilty, perhaps.

  11. CP88, they're projecting. It was Their Orange Overlord who said that he wanted to bang his daughter and who walked into the dressing room of the Miss Teen Universe pageant because he owned the contest and claimed that he was :conducting an inspection."

  13. Stewart Dean, That is one terrific quote!

Wikipedia says there was a total of 156,027,476 votes cast in 2020 for president.

$14.4 billion was spent on the 2020 election.

    https://www.opensecrets.org/news/2021/02/2020-cycle-cost-14p4-billion-doubling-16/

That's a lot more votes for corporations, billionaires, Russian Oligarchs, and dark money campaigns. We won't stand a proper chance until Citizens United is overturned and replaced with restraints and transparency.

The fact that Biden won still astonishes me, but very glad he did.
