Nice Strike, Ukraine

Ukrainian forces fired rockets at a facility in the eastern Donetsk region where Russian soldiers were stationed, killing 63 of them, Russia’s defense ministry said Monday, in one of the deadliest attacks on the Kremlin’s forces since the war began more than 10 months ago.

Given the Russian's track record of greatly understating their casualties, I would not be surprised if the true death toll is several multiples of that figure.

The difference in missile strikes is that the Ukrainians seem to be mostly hitting military targets, while the Russians hit civilian targets. It's the difference between military operations and terrorism.

  1. Reports that the troops were relatively new conscripts and all using their phones…and the Ukrainians triangulated the phone signals, added it to the geotags on some pictures they acquired, and pounded the location. Very nice intelligence work, if true.
