A 22-year-old faces life in prison after he pleaded guilty to plotting a mass shooting to “slaughter” women at an Ohio university, according to U.S. Attorney Kenneth L. Parker.
Tres Genco, 22, of Hillsboro, Ohio, has been in custody since his arrest in July of 2021, Parker explained Tuesday.
Genco is a self-identified “Incel or involuntary celibate,” the U.S. attorney said.

When he first began posting on the Incel websites, Genco attended Army Basic Training in Georgia. He was discharged for entry-level performance and conduct in December 2019.
A month after being discharged, Genco conducted surveillance at an Ohio university on Jan. 15, 2020.
The same day, Parker said, Genco allegedly searched online for topics including “planning a shooting crime” and “when does preparing for a crime become an attempt?”
During the investigation, Genco’s manifesto was found which claimed he would kill women “out of hatred, jealousy and revenge.”
Yet another spoiled white guy who thinks that women should want to fuck him because he's a white guy. None of these jerkoffs are willing to do the work to meet people, to get to know them, to make friends. They're more inteersted in sitting in their mother's basements and consuming hatred and emitting rage online.
Well, he's probably going to get the chance to make lots of friends on his cellblock.
Where do incels come from? Is it a psychological condition or a learned behavior? Too much media could be the case. Associating with the "women haters" crowd could be the cause. It's hard for me to understand since I became fascinated with ladies in my early teenage years.

He may get more than all he wants, which should cause him to reassess his views about women and consent, but probably won't.

ReplyDeleteUsually male, socially undeveloped, actively holding grudges
against women. They seek support in the misogynist manosphere.
They are semi-adults that never grew up and made it on
their own. Lacking maturity or realized self sufficiency
feeds their developing inferiority complex. Their lack of
minimal social skills feeds their frustrations. Some
clearly have developed psychosexual paraphilias or slid
to unrealized fantasy life usually played out in online
forums.
So my call is learned behaviour that leads to a psychological
state or psychosocial issues.
Their social history is likely traceable to late elementary
years or middle school likely reads as loner, quiet, anger
issues, isolated, inappropriate behaviour, does not work
and play well with others. Usually a lack of socially
acceptable outlets or self control.
Read up on many of the mass and spree shooters, lot of the
same indicator items there but noticeable development
forks as they age. Only a fraction become violent.
I do think that some acquire ideation based on their own
fantasy life and either become suicidal or externalize it
as potential killers (mixture of both).
