Shooting Bonnie and Clyde

A podcast interview with Darryl Bolke about Frank Hamer and the guns used:

Bolke is a retired cop, a collecter of old law-enforcement guns and an expert on investigating shootings. He is part of Hardwired Tactical, which does a lot of revolver training. In this podcast, he debunks a lot of the myths about the guns used.

  1. Very interesting Being a lazy dishonest, and unproductive teamster, I probably would have been on the other side of the picket line from Frank Hamer. A good listen nonetheless.

  2. A very long time ago, I interviewed for a job at a dairy. The pay rate quote was pretty high. But, it turned out that a dollar an hour went to the Teamsters as union dues. The previous year, I wad worked at a unionized chemical plant, the dues to the AFL/CIO were $6/month. I thought it was ridiculous to pay close to thirty times that to the Teamsters. I exercised some rare good sense for my age at that point and turned down the job.

So yes, I thought they were a corrupt union.
