Oh, don't kid yourselves, those of us on the left of the political spectrum don't much like you guys. Some of us have rather long memories of the Hoover era and I suppose a lot of us don't think that you've changed overly much.
But, at least we're not screaming for you guys to be defunded and killed, unlike the clowns on the Right.
Those clowns are all "law and order, back the blue", until they start getting arrested. Then it's cries of repression and they're LARPing with their knockoff AR-15s.

ReplyDeleteWhen I was in my teens in the 60s', A radical group broke Tim Leary out of prison and hid him. My Dad had done university work with Mr. Leary and they had become friends at that point. Now years later and totally out of touch with him, the FBI calls the house badgering my Mom that she had better fink on Dad and come clean about where Leary is.
