Following some tooth extractions, Chip has Horner’s syndrome. That’s when the optic (or auditory) nerve gets disturbed during dental surgery. Could be from lidocaine, it could be from a little bit of bleeding. It’s supposed to resolve itself in between 2 weeks to 4 months.
