It's not bullshit. Yesterday, Trump admitted, in writing, that he was trying to overturn the election.
Trump is admitting to his attempt to rip up our democracy. Those who are aligning themselves with Trump, who support him, are tacitly admitting that they hate the American Experiment, that they are in favor of a dictatorship.
If you support Trump, that's who you are. Since Trump has admitted that he sought to overturn the election, every senator and representative who voted to challenge the election should be disqualified from ever running for public office again, pursuant to Section 3 of the Fourteenth Amendment.
And, as Borowiz pointed out, if Trump insists he won 2020, then he can't run again because of the 2nd amendment presidential term limit.

ReplyDeleteComrade Misfit, from what I have learned as an amateur psychologist(just books,articles and observation) is that people who are self-described as the normal people as opposed to every one else need someone to blame for their lack of status or success in life. That is why tRump and others with the same playbook have had success in leading people in a bad direction. They need to feel they belong to an exclusive clan, tribe or something along the same line and to them that means they are always on the right side.
ReplyDeleteWhat I love about all of this is how the Batshit Right is essentially saying "Who you gonna believe, me or your lying eyes?" We all saw what happened. Senior Trump appointees bailed afterwards, having had enough. We have guilty pleas from those who trashed the Capitol. More and more documents are coming out about the involvement of Trump and his co-conspirators in planning the coup and trying to overturn the election.
