COMMENT MODERATION IS IN EFFECT UFN. This means that if you are an insulting dick, nobody will ever see it.
Good. At least they are (finally) stepping up.
ReplyDeleteJust hope the new one is decent.
Good luck.
When I sent the gun back, I also sent a letter to corporate. I don’t know if that had anything to do with the outcome.
ReplyDeleteYou bought this revolver used and they are replacing it free of charge? Wow. Deal of a lifetime for someone like me. I once bought a new 4-inch #66 and it shot for crap. I even sent it in for an action job thinking it was all me, but it did nothing for the piss poor accuracy. I finally unloaded it on a guy at work and bought a new 66, 6 inch. Not only is the factory trigger close to what I paid for the first time, but the gun also shoots 2 inch groups with my + P handload. I can't totally blame my gun for its problems, but then a different gun solved all the problems. Good luck with your new shooter.

No, this was a new gun. First K-frame that I had bought new since the Carter Administration.
ReplyDeleteS&W doesn’t do warranty service on used guns. “Lifetime warranty” expires if the gun is sold.
ReplyDelete(Taurus does, though.)
