ReplyDeleteI've read somewhere that the Corsair cockpit is roomier than other WW2 fighters because Vought Chief Test Pilot Lyman Bullard Jr. was a tall man, and Assistant Chief Test Pilot Boone Guyton was a head taller. I'm guessing that influenced the vertical adjustment range of the pilot's seat and rudder pedal adjustment.
