Everyone Knows They Are the Cowards of the Senate

These illustrious senators ran and hid, so they wouldn't have to take a stand on the Insurrection Commission:

Blackburn (R-TN) Blunt (R-MO) Braun (R-IN) Burr (R-NC)
Inhofe (R-OK) Murray (D-WA) Risch (R-ID) Rounds (R-SD)
Shelby (R-AL) Sinema (D-AZ) Toomey (R-PA)

There was a contentious vote yesterday, they turned their backs and ran away. It was probably too inconvenient fdor them to take a stand against the MAGA terrorists. Or they have bad short-term memory problems and can't remember the terror that they felt on January 6th, or the smell of tear gas lingering in the hallways.

The cops ought to keep in mind that these ignoble senators and those who voted to scuttle the commission yesterday may say that they have the backs of the cops, but they only do if their Orange Overlord consents.
