It seems, now, that the mRNA vaccines not only fight the chance of severe disease and death, they do greatly reduce the chances of even contracting COVID. But even though Trump claims that he should get the credit for the vaccines, Republicans don't want to take them.
I want this pandemic to be over as soon as possible. And if that means that COVID burns through the anti-vaxxers, so be it.
I just hope it happens sooner rather than later.

if half of that die, we still win.
if 10% of them die, 7 million our last will will double to 14 million.
If 1% of them die its still 700,000 more we win by.
If they are antivax or hate anything science... they get sick maybe die.
IF large numbers of RQP members die from the trump virus or don't
take the trump vaccine. The Rethugs loose due to shrinking numbers....

I would be more likely to feel like they were just getting what they asked for were it not for the fact that continued widespread infection and transmission is the mechanism by which the virus mutates into forms that may or may not be subject to the vaccines we have developed.
