May to December

Last May, the House of Representatives sent a second COVID relief bill to the Senate. Only now has the Senate gotten serious about getting something enacted.

Key for Trump was restoring the three-martini lunch deduction. Not that's going to help the restaurant industry that much. They're facing an extinction-level event in this pandemic; restaurant workers and owners don't have the same good lobbyists that the airline industry has.

I am certain that if there was not a critical pair of run-off elections pending in Georgia, McConnell and his pack of seditious trolls would not have done a bloody thing. They would have been cheerfuly letting those two clowns engage in insider trading to their hearts' content.

  1. Pelosi let the bill linger until after the election...Wonder why?

  2. There's apparently no end to the stupidity, the rejection of reality of the die-hard Trump supporters. You call them out on their stupidity about election fraud and they disappear, only to pop up and spout some other absurdity. McConnell repeatedly said he wasn't going to allow the Democrats' bill to go through, and it was too big, and on and on, but somehow that's Pelosi's fault.

As this article says, there's really no point in discussing anything with delusional idiots:

  5. Gee, B, last I checked the HEROES act passed the house the fifteenth of May.

  6. Don’t confuse B with the facts, as they have a leftist bias. Unlike The Daily Wire.

  7. More delusions and stupidity... It's not like the offer was a straightforward "here's $1.8 B of what you want." The Democrats wanted $2.2 B at that point, including a variety of types of relief the Republicans said they wouldn't go for. Plus, McConnell said flat out that he wouldn't do anything in the Senate until after the confirmation, so it was all moot.

  8. Mitch "the Mole" McConnell, Manchurian Senator, married to a Communist Chinese Princess?

B reminds me of a subsection of an investigations class I took years ago profiling the likely participants in a domestic violence call. Some people just won't stop pushing buttons, even after the cops are there and the (alleged) perp cuffed and stuffed. Leaving one wondering just who the perp is?

  9. Yeah, I know...

"Who you gonna believe, Me, or your lyin' eyes".

Nancy and the Dems wouldnb't deal until after the election. If you can't see that truth, then you are delusional. And the sad part is that people, citizens, both Democrat and Republican voters, suffered so she (among others) could play politics.

  10. Real easy answer B, Moscow Mitch said send it and it dies here.

When you have a do nothing senate blaiming Pelosi is sorta just
    another lie.
