Meanwhile, In Cincinnati...

Donald the Loser has not spent a minute of his time on the pandemic since he was defeated. Now, he's saying that the FBI and the Department of Justice were involved in rigging the election.

At what point does it become obvious to the casual observer that Donald Trump has lost his mind, that he's nuttier than a boxcar-load of peanuts?

At what point does the 25th Amendment come into play? Someone who is as unhinged as Trump has no business being around anything sharper than a pair of safety scissors.

  1. The 25th doesn't work as long as all Republicans are in his thrall. Maybe we should address that if we can.

  2. Good place to start would be eliminate the republicans. Send 'em to the showers.

White-dogs had a sayin' about some of my ancestors, the only good one... Applicable here.

EYup, some of us will get hurt, some will die ...

  3. One of the few truthful things Trump has ever said is that if he shot someone on 5th Avenue his supporters would still support him. No matter how crazy he acts even if it gets worse in the next two months and beyond they will still adore and support him. I think it's like a religion to them because if he puts "those people" down its raises them up.

  4. I'd like to know the name of the hospital. Oddly, none are shown as full capacity nor as closed to arrivals as of Monday at 8:30 AM CDT.
Perhaps the reporting of capacityis late or something.

And a question: Why do you allow such hate speech from Ten Bears? Do you agree with it?

  5. NAZIs, b, NAZIs and Confederates. Enemies of the American People, the American Way of Life, who have renounced their citizenship and declared War upon the United States; and the men, women and children both civilian and military they've killed were American citizens. Whatever you may think of it, or wish to think of it otherwise, these remain beyond dispute.

If you can't run with the big dogs, stay on the porch.

  6. I do not want him removed. A removed Trump can be pardoned.

  7. b, sighing and shaking his head, walks back to the basement stairs at the bunker.........

  8. "...sharper than a pair of safety scissors"
Past that I think; perhaps we've reached 'sharper than a stick of butter' level by now.

  9. Nice insult, Seafury...but what if, instead of Republicans, it were Jews? Or Gay people? THen would it be OK to "elininate" them? Or "Send them to the showers"....which is another way of saying the same thing?

Does our esteemed hostess condone Hate Speech? Do you?

  10. No Jews or gay people are trying to kill my health insurance in the middle of a goddamn pandemic, B, so they aren't in for the same level of push back.
There's hate speech, and then there's attacks on one's personal safety, and sometimes one begets the other, and other times accurate commentary about such attacks can be construed as hate speech.

  11. Everybody fucking behave. I don’t have the inclination or personal bandwidth today to deal with petty-ass bullshit.

  12. Ok, D: So where is is the line? One the one hand, you feel it is ok to condemn me to death because I don't support you getting socialized medecine (WHich means that someone else pays for you, really)..

Do I get to suggest that YOU should die because you feel that you should get something for free (or at a reduced price) when I have to pay for that portion of YOUR subsidized health insurance...that I think is *Not a Right when You Don't Pay For It?* Do I get to suggest that we shoot freeloading folks who won't poay their own bills? Herd them into camps and make them work for it? (Hint: I don't condone any of that, just to be clear)

Look, I understand that we disagree, and you think that someone else should pay your bills and I don't think that, but rather that YOU should pay your own bills. Does our level of philisophical difference allow for me to think that you should be herded into a camp and shot? I don't thnik that. Do you think that? ?
Do YOU condone the Hate Speech? Yes, or no?

  13. Now getting back to the original theme of the post, is dereliction of duty a reason for removal? I ask because from what I’ve seen, heard and read, the only Presidential act that Trump has performed was the laying of the wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Otherwise he has spent untold amounts of time claiming that the election was rigged and fraudulent. And no time at all in dealing with the pandemic that has killed over 267K Americans, other than to claim that the vaccines are because of him. Not very Presidential if you ask me.

And also taking credit for the Dow going over 30,000 after Biden announced his selection for Treasury. Strangely, there’s only crickets as it has fallen below that level. Yet supporters STILL hang on his every word, drinking the Koolaid, and echo every misstatement that comes from the administration. That, sadly, is the reality in the USA today.

And, for the record, I don’t advocate for anyone to be eliminated. I just won’t associate with those that refuse to believe their own eyes and ears.

  14. SO then you condemn Ten Bears words and wishes? Yes, or no?

  15. Really, b.? His hospital stopped all elective surgery Monday due to lack of capacity because they are full of COVID patients...try harder.

  16. I do not condone hate speech. I don’t support hate speech. I do myself speak with vulgarities but I think, not to the point of threatening anyone. I only speak for myself and not for others. And I stand behind what I say. That’s why I put my name at the end of my texts. I figure that if one means what they say, then be accountable too.

  17. B, I paid the premiums on the insurance I have every payday for 32 fucking years.
And don't act like you will never need it, because statistically, you will, and will it be the money I paid subsidizing your care?
No, because it doesn't work that way, and you know that.
Meanwhile the pandemic is raging across the country and the people tasked with dealing with it can't get good data for supply chains and resource allocation because Fergus thought he'd look better if he stopped the CDC from providing it last summer, and now the private corporation he put in charge of the data is producing what health administrators are calling garbage.
At what is now the worst part of the pandemic, but tomorrow and next week will be still worse.
So as the hospitals get overrun in areas without secondary options, people will die from lack of care until everyone gets vaccinated some time next year. And yes, it will be from lack of care, as hospitals have gotten a lot better at treating covid cases when they have the resources to do so, so who should be the ones who have to die B? And why are people who are risking their own lives to save them now going to have to make such ghastly decisions?
This is not a simple, polite, policy discussion, and I think that may be at the root of your misunderstanding over the tone of the comments about it.

  18. B, most of my health insurance over the years was paid by my employer. Since it came with the job I had to work at it was part of my pay. I would much rather pay some more taxes and so that everyone can have healthcare and can then afford medical treatment when necessary so there is less sick people around especially those working in the food chain.

  19. Must have touched a nerve. I thought it was harmless joshing and jesting. Let's see, hate speech, hate speech, hmmmmm ah here it is
Joe di Genova on Chris Krebs "Take him out at dawn and shoot him
Steve Bannon " put Chris Wray and Anthony Fauci heads on pikes"
No wait those are just threats from good solid reasonable conservatives
" The Jews will not replace us" Charlottesville proud boys
I gotta million of them where should I send them? B@reichstag.com? Or the bunker?
Seriously I wish we could have a reasonable conversation B I really do. After all Charles Barkley said he could sit in a klan meeting and not disagree with everything said. But unfortunately we are where we are. America has been through so much, and all it took was one man, one ignorant blowhard to be the mouthpiece and bring it all crashing down, because that's what's coming. Sorry but "oh yeah but whatabout..... isn't going to work much longer. In the spirit of the holidays I'll say peace on earth and goodwill to all men. Except the Jews the black's the muslim's the native americans etc, Ooops my bad channeling my inner trump supporter
