Hurricane Sally-- Batten Down, New Orleans
If the forecast holds, it's going to be moving very slowly when it comes ashore. That may mean that there's going to be a shitload of rain.

COMMENT MODERATION IS IN EFFECT UFN. This means that if you are an insulting dick, nobody will ever see it.
Sigh, they don't NEED any more rain right now. And having another hurricane hit will only expand the devastation...
ReplyDeleteIt’s the Northshore that’s gonna get ganked with that track, plus some of the southern N.O. Lakefront. Almost a perfectly bad track to pile water into Lake Pontchartrain...but if it does curve NE like that, it’ll save drowning another 10,000+ homes because the NE quadrant will miss the areas that have grown since Katrina. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteThe region really does not need that.
ReplyDeleteHope for the best and be prepared to get outta dodge.
