ReplyDeleteThe “Diamond Jet”. On the MU-2, we had one of Clayton William’s campaign (Texas Gov. candidate in 1990) flights auger in from altitude in 1990...talking to us normally and then dive and splat! If I remember correctly, it one of the few smaller twins that requires a type and safety training.
ReplyDeleteIIRC, the MU-2 accident rate improved markedly when they implemented a proper training requirement.
