And Yet No GOPers Are Screaming "Boondoggle"!

Ivanka Trump was an attendee at the Munich Security Conference. Because of her noted experience in such matters?

If a Democratic president had sent his/her daughter to such an event, the Right Wing Noise Machine would be up in arms to decry the trip as a boondoggle. But Trump does it and all you hear from the RWNM is the sound of crickets.

  1. Hey, Barry made Hillary SecState. Exactly what were her credentials for that?

Oh, yeah, she was a Dem. Sorree.

  2. Hillary isn’t related to “Barry”, B.

    Fox News isn’t your friend.

  3. Hillary was elected a Senator, and was a lawyer, a law professor, an adviser on the Watergate scandal, and has spent her life immersed in politics. As first lady, she traveled the world with and without her husband, developing relationships.

Ivanka... was made Executive Vice President for daddy's company a year out of college.

  4. Enter B. with tired “whataboutism”...

  5. What, besides agreement, would you find acceptable, CP?

You toss that 'whataboutism" around a lot, but the comparison is valid. Hillary had no more experience than Ivanka, yet you found that acceptable.

The only difference is you LOVED Barry and you HATE Donnie.

  6. No fan but, I'm pretty sure Hillary didn't sleep with daddy.

  7. No more experience, except for being First Lady for 8 years, getting elected to the Senate.......

  8. B, do you really think that being a Senator for eight years counts as zero political experience?

  9. As SecState? Yes, I pretty much think that counts as "zero".

    The two aren't related.

  10. B., lets check Reagan’s SecState(s)...

Shultz, experience SecLabor (<2 years), head OMB (<2 years), Sec Treasury (<2 years>. So less time in Washington than Clinton as a Senator plus no international experience vs Clinton’s 8 years as First Lady...winner, Clinton.

Haig, total of about 4 years in Washington, plus 4.5 as Supreme Commander Europe. Less time and experience than Clinton...winner, Clinton.

Not good, how about Bush Uno...

Baker, less than 5 years, SecCommerce most significant...winner, Clinton.

    Bush Deux...

Powell, military background, focused on Europe and the Americas...winner, Clinton.

Rice, 4 years as National Security Advisor...winner, Clinton.

Now, this skips Stoessel, Armacost and Eagleburger, whose terms were too short or acting to worry about. So, B., pull the other one. Please advise the following: When did Ivanka Trump serve in the United States Senate? If the answer is, she hasn’t, your whole argument just collapsed.

  11. It would be better if you actually reacted to what people wrote instead of what you think they wrote. And Fox News still isn’t your friend.
