Cohen May be Cooked

Michael Cohen, Trump's personal lawyer and fixer, has long denied that he was in Prague in August or September of 2016, let alone met with any Russians. He denies being in Europe at all during that window of time.

Seems that was a bit of fib on his part. He apparently was in Prague and the Feds investigating the Trump mess have evidence of that.

Apparently, Cohen was about as much of a lawyer as was Tom Hagen, other than Cohen had a few more clients.

  2. B, it will, indeed. Talking to the Feds is a risky business. If you're not in a regulated industry where you have to (aviation, pharmaceuticals, for examples), you're better off not talking to a fed about anything.

Apparently the Steele Dossier alleged that Cohen was in Prague to talk to the Russians about Trump. If they can put Cohen in Prague, then comes the question as to why he was there and why he lied about it. Since Cohen lied about being in Prague, what's the chance that he's going to believed about whatever story he comes up with that doesn't link to Trump and the Russians?

Unless Cohen can prove that he was in Prague to broker money-laundering for a Mexican cartel, his lies about being in Prague have the potential to singe Trump.

Not saying they will, but it seems as though the circle is closing.

And, for what it's worth, I do not cheer on the prospect of Pence taking the wheel. Batshit crazy and competent are a dangerous combination.

  3. Pence is not an issue.
Even if they bust Fergus for everything, he won't be removed.
All available methods of removal require 2/3rds of the senate, and no matter how well we do in the midterms, we won't have that. We'll be very lucky, given this map, to flip a net of two seats and take control of the chamber.
The Republicans will never vote to remove him, as they are terrified of his "supporters", so we're stuck with him until 2021.
What we need to do is harness the massive backlash as best we can to overcome the cheating we know they will be doing in 2020, or else we'll have him until 2025.

  4. Would DUI or vehicular manslaughter apply to a sitting President?
    It should.

  5. Cohen is more like Fredo being given Tom Hagen's job.

the entire trump regime is an army of Fredos thinking they're Michaels.
