Eatin' Good in the Neighborhood, But Not For Long

If you wonder why there are so many restaurants in places, you can blame Wall Street.

There's a good chance that it is all going to come crashing down, just like any other boomlet. The bitg guys on Wall Street will have made their money. Those who bought into the franchised dream will be the ones holding the bag.

  1. I live an hour away from a town of less than 5000 people. There are currently fast food joints, almost every other storefront. They are shoveling them into strip malls even.
A local woman ran the best fish and chips ever and she was forced out.
Now we have a 'am-pm' with gas and "food" just about to open?
Local restaurants barely stay open if at all.
A sad state of affairs when you want to appreciate a local favorite not a mass produced order of 'heartburn'.
