Word! (Plus Bannon)

Steve Bannon, a forceful but divisive presence in President* Donald Trump's White House, is leaving.

Trump accepted Bannon's resignation on Friday, ending a turbulent seven months for his chief strategist, the latest to depart from the president's administration in turmoil.
"Voluntary".... right. Kind of like those Russian soldiers voluntarily going into battle with NKVD "encouragement troops" behind them. Trump probably should have been reminded about what LBJ had to say about Jedgar Hoover.

  1. I am surprised, but expect that he wouldn't bend to the will of TheDonald.

And all that shit he said a couple of days ago probably didn't please the rest of Donald's staff.

Sad, I think he was a pretty good guy who had a great deal of potential.

  3. Someone who cooks meth in the bathtub is not a "good guy with potential."

  4. When do the trump supporters/apologists fess up to buyers remorse? They got taken in by a man who cannot speak the truth to save his soul. He was exposed prior to the election as a lying, misogynistic, homophobic, racist piece of shit and yet they still voted for him then and make excuses for him now. And the blame always goes to the 'Fake News Media' who were exposing story after story on this garbage of a man. His whole political career was started with the birther lie, but people were taken in by his boorish behavior and braggadocio. He hasn't drained the swamp, he's the biggest gator IN the swamp.

If the Republicans had any balls, they'd begin proceedings to remove him from office on the grounds of a lack of mental stability. But I'm not holding my breath.

  5. Bannon was probably the smartest man in the White House, and thus the most dangerous because of his total lack of any redeeming moral values. Trump probably would have been better off with Bannon inside the tent pissing out, but the rest of us are probably far better off with him as far from the levers of power as possible.

  6. A racist, xenophobic nationalist has a "great deal of potential". Nuff said.

  7. Bannon is a creep, no doubt about it, but remember that he was just part of the deal Trump made with Mercer to pull his campaign out of what appeared at the time to be freefall, a deal which also included Kellyanne Conway.
Word is that Mercer met with both Bannon and Trump (separately) this week, so it might be more informative to find out what he's up to where both Bannon and the white house are concerned.

  8. Seems like every third or fourth generation, the sane among us have to defeat the side of bigotry and evil. We kicked their great-great grandparents asses in 1864. Thought it was over. Eighty years later we again kicked them to the curb in 1945. Figured the Nazis learned their lesson then. Seventy-some years later, looks like we have to apply the lesson again. Damn, these are some hard-headed idiots. It's like they can't understand the language, only a kick in the ass will do.

  9. GOP voters had to know trump was a nazi and racist and kind of liked it, didn't bother them anyway compared to the universe ending horror of Hillary and her 'emails o' hell'.
Don't assume any American under 50 knows who Hitler was or the nazis. Don't assume old voters who remember them disapproved entirely of the Hitlerites either, hard racism was the comfortable norm back then and it took guts to be accused of being a *lover, bad for business too.
Obviously Bannon never left dead brietbart so I'm guessing trump loses more friends than he gains as always and soon the shitstorm reichist trumpdumping agitprop descends on the beleaguered trump camp, minions flying out of Bannon's ass like semi-sentient flying monkeys with keyboards and twitter accounts. Well alright.
